Permits, Licensing & Planning

SERAC can provide the technical support where there is a need for planning consent, PPC application, authorisation, exemption. This service can be tailored to suit the clients’ needs, from complete end to end management or alternatively support in certain elements of the client driven application. Environmental Impact Assessments and Working Plans can be provided as part of the service.

Integrated Management Systems - Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality.

To support clients in their implementation of management systems, SERAC can provide a range of services from design, development and maintenance through to auditing. Complete integrated systems have been developed for some clients whilst others may need support in just one element such as safety, environment or quality. Advice can be provided on the requirements of the relevant ISO standard and the most practical way to achieve compliance and certification. Our learning programmes can be used to support all elements of a management system.

‘Competent Personnel’ Support

SERAC can provide appropriately qualified person to your site(s) in order that an operator can comply with the minimum attendance requirements for ‘a competent person’ as required by the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2007 or the Waste Management Licensing Regulations 1994.

While on site providing support, SERAC’s ‘Competent Personnel’ holder can be used to assess another member of the employer’s staff if required, so that the operator has more of its own competent personnel in place going forward.
