If it is required, SERAC can offer Skills for Life training within other courses, for those who may have numeracy or literacy issues.
Skills for Life are taught within work related learning packages giving candidates a relevant context in which to use their new skills.
SERAC assessors will use web based resources, ‘learndirect’ courses or on site tutoring to support learners and to give variety to learning methods.
For some candidates these may be the first qualifications relating to numeracy or literacy that they have ever gained.
