E-Assessment (Ecordia)

Serac UK’s e-assessment services can be used to achieve part, or in some cases all, of a qualification.

Candidates access Serac UK’s licensed assessment packages online to upload their evidence and other information as they work towards their award. The candidates can choose how they capture the data - by means of a scanned document, digital camera, and camera phone or even send in a sound file from a Dictaphone and then upload it to their unique file on the system. This is then supported remotely by their assessor to review the candidate’s work and provide feedback. The system keeps track of the candidate’s qualification progress and allows for e mailing between the assessor and candidate so they keep in touch.

For candidates who are comfortable with straightforward IT packages, e-assessment offers a convenient and cost effective way of collating information and then sharing it with their assessor without the need for site visits. It allows candidates to work on their award when it suits them.

Through Serac UK’s easy-to-use Ecordia website package, candidates and their assessors can access assessment plans and work-to-date to ensure everything is on track to complete assessments within agreed timescales.
