Waste Producers

Serac offers two main types of training for those employed in the waste management and recycling sector – employees of contractors who collect or receive wastes and recyclate; and waste producers’ personnel for the thousands of organisations that create waste and recycling materials.

Serac UK is well placed to provide learning programmes based on its years of experience in the sector with a track record of many successful courses delivered.

Serac UK is the only provider holding the Training Quality Standard (TQS) Part B accreditation for the waste sector. Many of our courses are also accredited by IOSH, CIEH, and CIWM.
Our courses have been developed to meet knowledge requirements for the industry’s qualifications or in response to technical, environmental or health and safety learning needs in the sector. The training ensures that delegates are kept informed of changes to legislation and made aware of industry best practices.

The courses are run regularly in various locations throughout the UK, or can be delivered in-house at the employers premises, with the training being bespoke to meet individual employer needs where required.
Serac UK only offers training programmes where we believe they will bring genuine advantages to a learner and their employer, delivering them in a variety of ways based on the needs of each learner. Increasingly we are delivering all or part of our courses via webinars and are developing other e learning platforms.

Mobile plant and LGV drivers – we can also provide through our partners Mentor Training and Focale, a complete range of accredited training for mobile plant operators or drivers that operate in the industry.
