Laboratory & Associated Technical Activities (LATA)

The LATA awards are aimed towards those already employed in a laboratory environment, particularly within the education, industrial or service sectors.

The awards are offered at four Levels to suit the candidate’s job roles and responsibilities.

Serac UK currently provides these qualifications for employees working in a range of industries and employers where they are involved in sampling and analytical roles.

Sectors in which we have assessed candidates include; extractives & mineral processing, waste management, National Health Service, analytical laboratories, educational organisations and food processing.

Currently, Serac UK provides the following LATA qualifications:

• LATA - Level 1
• LATA - Level 2 – Industrial
• LATA - Level 2 – Educational
• LATA - Level 3 – Industrial
• LATA - Level 3 – Educational
• LATA - Level 4

Performing Manufacturing Operations (PMO)

The PMO Awards are aimed towards those already employed in the manufacturing sector, particularly those carrying out the following job roles:

• Brick/Concrete/Refactory Plant Operative
• Ceramic/Pottery Maker
• Chemical Plant Process Worker
• Packaging Operative/Manager
• Paper Manufacturing Operative
• Engineering Operative

Currently, Serac UK provides the following PMO qualifications

• PMO - Level 1
• PMO - Level 2
