Don Glaister, Chairman at Serac UK
Don has been involved in the waste management and recycling industry for the last twenty years. He ran his own management consultancy for three years, specialising in integrated management systems for a range of clients, which included working as a vocational assessor and trainer. In 2001, Don acquired Serac UK with a partner before taking sole ownership of the business in 2005.
Mark Warnes, General Manager at Serac UK
Mark is a new addition to the senior management team and comes to us with over 18 years experience in senior management, marketing and business development, primarily gained in the leisure and tourism industry in both the UK & France. In recent years Mark set up and run several online travel and retail companies and is now looking forward to sharing his valuable experience of online sales and marketing.
Ben Hallatt, Operations Manager at Serac UK
Ben’s role at Serac UK is to manage our centre on a day to day basis and manage the relationship with our key clients as well as the growing team of assessors and trainers. Employers benefit from Ben’s understanding of changes in government funding for training and his ability to communicate the implications and opportunities these present to business. He is also adept at gaining approvals for awards in order to provide varied and flexible solutions to employers.
Phil Kay, QHSE Advisor at Serac UK
Phil Kay has worked with Serac UK since 2003 ensuring we are up to date on leglislation, compliance and best practice on health and safety matters, and managing the Quality and HSE certification process for our customers. Since joining the company, Phil has implemented Health & Safety and Quality management systems and gained ISO 9001 registration for numerous small businesses. He has also guided several companies through the rigorous process of attaining Safety Critical Approval by London Underground.
Paul Davis, Sales Manager at Serac UK
Paul’s role at Serac UK is to manage our sales from the enquiry stage through to completion and the on-going relationship with our customers.
Since joining Serac UK in April 2011 Paul has implemented a number of new sales procedures including the setup of a new CRM system which has helped Serac UK to continue to improve and deliver a high quality service to its customers. Prior to Serac UK, Paul worked as a Sales Manager for a local Microsoft Gold Partner and Access Accounts Development Centre where for 12 years he worked with companies identifying their accounting system, business network infrastructure and IT support needs.
