SERAC has delivered learning and assessment services since 1995 for a wide range of clients and sectors including: waste management, recycling, minerals extraction, construction and environmental.

Large and small operators throughout the UK rely on SERAC’s advice to help keep them and their employees safe at their places of work and compliant with all the relevant legislation.

SERAC provides an integrated package of needs analysis, learning provision, and NVQ assessment. Our reputation for innovation and leadership means that we keep our clients up to date with emerging advice and their statutory obligations.

SERAC operates throughout the United Kingdom, using our own group of qualified and experienced staff to provide clients with responsive national coverage.

NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications)

The qualifications are independently developed to define competency for a wide range of industries and job roles.

SERAC assesses in the workplace a range of NVQ candidates, from first line operatives (Level 1) to Senior Managers (Level 5). As part of an assessment we provide all the learning and support courses as required.

VRQs (Vocationally Related Qualifications)

Similar to NVQs, yet requiring more classroom work with an assessment then completed to confirm the learning gained in a work environment. Learning SERAC has a wide range of courses suited to a variety of industries and topics. All courses deliver knowledge which is relevant and useful in the workplace, with the courses being accredited where required. SERAC courses are integrated into the relevant NVQ where required or are used to meet individual learning needs.

Learning

Learning and assessment is provided across the country, often as part of national arrangements agreed with clients.

SERAC courses are held either in carefully selected venues, or at client premises.

Consultancy

SERAC provides a range of support to assist clients with their integrated management systems, (Health, Safety, Quality and Environment), or on technical issues in the waste management, recycling and quarrying sectors. Specialist waste management advice for the construction and healthcare sectors is available.

Assessor and Verifier Training

We train and develop personnel to become assessors or verifiers. This ranges from training and assessment for the A1/V1 award through to complete support for in-company assessors.
